WWOOF

The International WWOOF (Willing Workers On Organic Farms) Association is dedicated to helping those who would like to volunteer on organic farms internationally.

The aims of WWOOF are:

to enable people to learn first-hand about organic growing techniques

to enable town-dwellers to experience living and helping on a farm

to help farmers make organic production a viable alternative

to improve communications within the organic movement.

WWOOF organisations compile a list of organic Host farms that (from time to time) welcome volunteer help.

We provide WWOOF books with a complete list of host farms in New Zealand.
When you buy the book you will automatically become a WWOOF member.
If you are on your own, the fee will be $30; if you are joining with a friend and travelling together the fee will be $40 in total.
Once you are a WWOOF member you can immediately start to find the right host farms for you and make your own arrangements with them.
